Exhumado el cadáver de un afectado por amianto al recibir la familia la orden judicial justo después del entierro

Harold St. Johns body was never laid to rest when a court issued a subpoena for his body to collect tissue samples. The funeral rites had already been administered and the family of the recently deceased had left the burial ground, when the body was taken from the cemetery and returned to the funeral home pending a hearing before the court. The family was not informed before the funeral took place that the subpoena had been issued. Chrysler, one of the defendants in the lawsuit, maintains that the proceedings were necessary to obtain additional information about the way Mr. St. John died. His family maintains that the action was totally unnecessary because Harold provided a tissue sample by way of a painful biopsy just after the lawsuit began. Mr. St. John worked in automotive repair, installing brake linings while working in an auto shop in the 1950’s and 1960’s. He sued Chrysler and Honeywell after being diagnosed with Mesothelioma.
